We believe there are three reasons why you should consider joining the JVA Core team:
Joining the core team is different from your typical internships or course projects. There is no teacher or manager who tells you what to do - you often times need to figure it out yourself. By taking responsibility of projects/tasks in our departments, you get the freedom to learn new things, but also to make your own mistakes. We believe that it is this responsibility and freedom which enables core team members to maximize learning and build skills.
Which specific learnings you will make depends on the department (Team Structure) you will join, but also how proactively you take on new projects.

Likeminded students
Have you ever struggled finding equally ambitious, global minded and startup enthusiastic students? Well, the wait is over! At JVA, you will immerse in a colorful ecosystem of likeminded students from different universities, study backgrounds and nationalities. You will get inspired by the wide ranging interests and ambitions our members have and beyond that, have the chance to build great friendships!
Startup professionals
As a core team member, you will get direct access to all fellowship lectures/events and learn about other startup events which are hosted around Tokyo on a weekly basis. As a result, you will be able to connect with inspiring founders, investors, and other startup enthusiasts who are keen to connect with the next generation of entrepreneurs.
JVA’s vision is to be the number one place for ambitious students (like you) who build the future. While we are nowhere near that goal yet, you as a core team member will play a valuable role in helping us get there. What you will do will not just contribute to your own personal growth, but also enable many more students to accelerate their entrepreneurial aspirations!
